Nuvista Haven Presents: A quiet stay in the Lancaster County countryside with plenty of room for the whole family. The home sleeps 11 and has a large fenced backyard, gazebo and outdoor dining area. You’ll be close to Sight & Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Amish Country attractions, shops and restaurants.
Spacious country home has room for up to 11 guests and works well for families or groups visiting Lancaster County. Three of the four bedrooms and both full bathrooms are located on the first floor.
The first floor has two bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with a full bed. Upstairs, the large fourth bedroom has two full beds and one twin bed, with enough space to sleep five guests.
The main living room has comfortable seating, a TV, piano, books, toys and games. There’s also a bright sunroom with large windows and views of the property.
The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, and the separate dining room has an extendable table. A second table in the kitchen gives everyone plenty of space to eat together.
Outside, you’ll have a large private fenced backyard with a gazebo, covered patio, outdoor seating and a dining area. The patio lighting makes it a great place to sit outside in the evening, and the front porch overlooks the surrounding farmland.

Small, tourist-oriented village with a strong Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish character. Key nearby attractions within 0–10 minutes by car: Sight & Sound Theatre, The Amish Experience, Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market, Bird-in-Hand Bakery & cafes, family-style smorgasbords, quilt and antique shops, outlet shopping at Rockvale/Tanger (short drive), Dutch Wonderland and Strasburg Railroad (15–20 minutes). Surrounding landscape is working farmland and horse-drawn buggies; evenings are generally quiet.
Most convenient by car — on-site parking or roadside parking typical for short-term rentals nearby. Public transit is limited: Red Rose Transit Authority provides local Lancaster-area buses but service to Bird-in-Hand is infrequent. Nearest Amtrak service is Lancaster Station (LNC) in the city of Lancaster; from there travelers commonly take a taxi, rideshare, or local bus. Rideshare/taxi and local buggy-ride/tour operators are commonly used for short trips and tours. Rental cars recommended for multi-day stays and exploring surrounding attractions.
